The drug testing requirement which Floyd Mayweather demanded from Manny Pacquiao and which hampered the happening of the proposed March 2010 fight may soon to be an issue of the past. It has been reported that Manny Pacquiao has agreed to drug testing as long as it is 14 days before the fight or 2 weeks before the fight and as long as only a small amount of blood be taken.

With this kind of announcement, it will now be up to Floyd Mayweather whether he will accept the fight or not. But for sure we will see Mayweather fans demanding Floyd to take the fight to settle once and for all who is the greatest between the two fighters. Manny Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum signified that he will do his best to make Mayweather fight his prized fighter Pacquiao. Arum however refused to comment to the reports that Pacquiao is softening his stance on his refusal to take the olympic style of drug testing which Mayweather is demanding from Pacquiao.

Number one boxer Manny Pacquiao and now Congressman in his native country the Philippines said that wants to fight one last time and that fight would be against Floyd Mayweather. Pacquiao said that many fans clamored for a showdown between him and Mayweather and so he asked for the permission of his mom and the latter willingly obliged.

The much awaited fight between Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather is once again back on the drawing board. This is so due to the removal of two hurdles which prevents the mega fight between the two of the world’s best boxers.

The first one of these hurdles is the election of Pacquiao to the Philippine Congress.
